I happened to watch Jenning's present 3 hours of Jesus and Paul. It was a very illuminating production. Why, because it spelled out some of the myths of the Bible. It showed how things are not conclusive. Example: In one Chapter Jesus was tried 3 times before he was crucified.. Another two and in another never. Paul was Saul. He was not a disciple. He never even knew Jesus but he was the one who wrote most of what we read in the Bible. In most cases it was his interpretation. He never mentioned procreation for example because he thought that the world was coming to an end and why have children. When I hear the ministers of the day pervert the Bible and take from it what they BELIEVE or were taught..under whom..and by whom...and the others who go by each word as though it came from the mouth of Jesus I am distraught. When the question was asked about this war. WHAT WOULD JESUS DO ? If we were truly Christians in this Country... instead of just giving lip service to being a Christian Country... would we have gone to war or turned the other cheek. If there is one thing I have learned from my early rearing was do unto others as they would........and love thy neighbor as thyself... and humility,generosity and and giving to those less fortunate. IN GOD WE TRUST... But does he trust us ? I know all this is a simplification. I am not a Bible Scholar nor Biblical History buff. I wish that I had studied it more in my life time.
