Tippet, In his early April letter, Hamilton advised readers to be patient for the right buying opportunity one signal is for the HUI to trade within 2% of it 200 DMA - we were close in Mid March but not close enough for his buy signal. Mike

Damn!!! thats one heck of a ride in HUI over the last few years. almost makes me want to step back as one of these trips to the 200 will not end per the usual bounce. thanks for sharing the chart. I really like gold fundamentally but i could easily see a trip to 150/60 on hui from a TA read. leaves me kind of torn.

looks like the afternoon softness is now hitting the nas/spx etc. also xau is in the middle of the 94-94.5 i was lookig for on todays close. may be a trip back to 93 if nasty gets stinky

It was the Feb to April time frame last year when HUI went from 150 to 115 (114.35 low late in March). It appeared to have formed a double top at 150, and to many the sky was falling. HUI considerably breached 200 dma then.

Today 4th negative close in a row for HUI. Will be interesting to see what kind of bounce we'll get.
