<but make sure it can communicate clearly that some increase in U.S. inflation is "acceptable,">

This line of BS, doesn't surprise me. I'm keeping these kind of comments and quotes, because I feel like writing a expose book when this is all over, and when they have some version of the "911 commission" on this Land of Oz crowd. Isn't it interesting how the Fed and their brethren at the Ministry of Propaganda are bringing out all the Orwellian double speak in regards to this increasingly vicious inflation? They just have to say something now, don't they, so in this case the OECD blatantly recommends lying? Apparently that kind of conduct is just Ok, and they don't even think twice about it. Still, are the bells going off at bond desks around the world?

Today looked like clear intervention, and market manipulation after the CPI "surprise" (to the cogniscenti, at any rate). Otherwise I think there would have been a panic. It's going to be very tough to keep the wheels on now though.
