It seemed to me that most of the questions where asked by people he had on his list and his answer to that question he couldn't answer inferred that it took him by surprise. I started watching half way through and couldn't believe my eyes and ears - what a stumblebum he is. He had the first names of the questioners but it appeared he didn't actually know them at all.

That's Junior's Achilles heel. "The world knows that when I say something, I mean it." Junior is a slow learner and therefore cannot be trusted by his handlers to have a change of opinion. He would invariably mix up the old with the new. The puppet masters make use of this, if they can get him to state something once he's hooked to that position forever. Bin Laden is learning how to play to this robot like nature and so manipulate Junior into processes that strengthen Al Qaeda. TP
