None of these acts is the work of a religion; all are the work of a fanatical, political ideology I think that the President would do himself and the whole world a favor if he stopped implying that OBL'istas are not driven by religious sentiment. They most certainly are. They are deeply and passionately religious people. And yes, they use their religion as a political ideology. There had always been extremist currents within Islam - The problem is that this time around they are better prepared, armed, organized - and that they have gone global.
