Then I look at the performance lately of TKO and BWR and wonder if these prices are going to kill growth...

Would not be surprised if most industrial consumers have their own little stockpiles, especially China. If lots of supply shows up later this year, those private stockpiles could theoretically be a problem. May cause the prices to gyrate.

Also note that if you have zero tin you don't need to buy copper to make bronze, or lead to make solder. Really tigh shortages can shut down produciton lines, and thus reduce the consumption of many other commodities.

This is the classic situation where the fundamentals are being contradicted by the charts. Is there some fundamental which is not apparant to us but which is reflected in the charts; or are the charts just evidencing some profit taking. It will be interesting to see how it resolves.
