Wrong. Kerry in his campaign has shots of him coming out of the jungle during the war...medals are mentioned. If you do not think this is running on Nam, it is you who is messed up.

Vietnam is relevant because Iraq is turning into a quagmire and was based on a big lie like Nam. It is also relevant because Bush wanted to run as a war president against a bona fide Vietnam war hero. And because the rightwing attack dogs slandered Kerry's war record and Bush himself went AWOL from the Guard. If Bushies want to bring up Vietnam, bring it on.
