Liz, because of the 2000 census, there has been a shift in some of the electoral votes.

Bush does not need to hold all the red states. If the States splits exactly like in 2000, Bush will have 278 votes instead of the 271 he received in 2000. Kerry would receive 260 votes instead of Gore's 267. (officially Gore received 266 because 1 of DC's votes was withheld in protest).

So Bush could lose up to 9 votes (Bush wins a 269 - 269 tie). Bush could lose New Hampshire (4) and West Virginia(5) and still win the election. That is why Ohio and Florida are so important. If Kerry wins either state, he should win the election.

Ex-Bush supporters switch to McCain or Kerry. Write in McCain if you can't vote for Kerry. Start a revolution and take your party back from the crooks and liars.

Rabid party followers have a hard time understanding that there are actually people who think for themselves in our country and know that the two parties have become a problem that needs correction. Bush and Kerry are part of the problem, not the solution. One will win unfortunately, because a democrat is going to vote democrat and support a baby, while the republicans will support Bush. That is how it works. I will not vote for Kerry or Bush. The two parties are a mess and I will no longer be an enabler. So knock off the Bushie crap. Take your blinders off.
