Yeah, there seems to be some kind of disconnect between gold as jewelery and gold as money in the minds of the masses. We all know gold is valuable when we buy 18 Karot gold necklaces and acknowledge its value in heist films where crooks try to steal a truck full of gold and yet as an investment play many people have no idea. I also think that it's laughable that the world continues to follow the policy initiated by Nixon in the 70's to stop backing the dollar with gold and instead back it with "in god we trust"!(LOL). When will we all wake up? Let's hope tomorrow! John
