Clarke said he got a call from the White House chief of Staff or Secretary of States (I doubt the latter) ordering him to let the Saudis and Bin Laudens go on 9-11. Why do you leave that out of your long post? It's THE most important part of his testimony.

This is inexcuseable no matter what the explanation. I have also read descriptions by officials at Logan airport watching this and FBi agents who said the departing saudis got away scott free without even being interrogated, despite the fact at least onje of them was under investigation for terrorist funding, a cousin of Bin Lauden's I believe. ALL of them knew somethiing. ANY of them could have given us valuable intel or been turned into a CIA source. None of them were even slowed down thanks to the White House. Corruption Inc. This story is only beginning. You and your liars brigade defending this will get eggs on your face for a long, long time.

You keep leaving out that White House Chief Of Staff or State ordered Clarke to release the Bin Laudens and Saudis. These people were not even interrogated. Their names were screened to make sure they weren't wanted and that's all. What an outrage.

After 9-11 Bush has repeatedly said everything changed. So why would you rely on old screening processes and ignore the fact that each and every one of those Saudis could have had information or even been part of the 9-11 plot. Certainly anyone in the Bin Lauden family should have been grilled, grilled and grilled some more. You're leaving out the White House orders part shows you are deliberately concealing crimes/mistakes/lies here which could jeopardize our national security. Why would you do such a thing?

PS: Eyewitness accounts I've read of the Saudis flying out described them as not being interrogated at all, while everyone else in the entire country was grounded and not allowed to fly. More than a little fishy, it stinks.
