My conservative, life-long Republican boyfriend just told me Bush has to go that he's made a mess of Iraq. Today, I got a call from the Chairwoman of the County Pacific Green Party. Yesterday I suggested to her that she switch party affiliation in order to vote for Kucinich in the Oregon primary in May, today she registered Democrat. She'll vote for Kerry in November. And she will be campaigning to convert Greens to Democrats until we take back the country. I cut her a deal. I told her that if she'd convert the 600 Greens in the county, I'd convert the 33,000 disappointed Republicans. Can I count on your boy-friend's endorsement for this effort? :)

Karen, Many comments on the threads tonight mimic the same thoughts. Bush tried to rally the country last night by telling us that God has made it our calling to change the world. Bush is has gone over the edge and it was apparent from his speech. He did look pathetic. We desperately need to replace him in Nov. Thank goodness people are wising up.
