Ed: DuPont is tiny compared to GE which has been dormant like most licensees since 1995. No licensee has ever produced evidence of a sale of a SPD product.

Apprently REFR signs up a licensee and then gives them research and development money so that REFR can write a misleading press release to bolster the stock price.

From the REFR board:

People are asking why DuPont "signed on" as a licensee of REFR. Did it? At no point in the press release is there any indication that DuPont did anything, or signed anything. All the press release talks about is how REFR "granted" DuPont a license to do this or that.

Well, maybe tomorrow REFR will "grant" Microsoft a license to replace Windows(TM) with SPD Windows(TM). But will MSFT even know it was granted the license? Does DuPont?

If someone has some verification from DuPont that it has heard of REFR and an employee signed a license agreement, then that is a step up from the language of the press release. Perhaps someone long or short should inquire.
