The reporter was repeating all the liberal "axioms" that they believe in, that have never worked and will never work. We read them over and over ad nauseum from Friedman.


As Oxblog noticed, having shoved the story into the same old tired "peace process" framework, Bennet had no room to notice why this meeting is happening now: Bush is supporting Sharon so that Sharon can get his Likud vote passed for this plan. Because if he doesn't, he's finished as PM and nothing moves forward. And it's going to be close.

Another blogger noticed that Bush connected the dots between Palestinian terrorism and Hizbullah/Al Qaeda terrorism more closely in his statement then ever before, that it's not different between Hamas blowing a bus in Jerusalem, or Al Qaeda attacking a convoy in Iraq.

They must be spitting blood at the Near East desks of the State Department.
