Daschle and Gephardt are just doing their jobs, partisan hacks that they are. Republicans who let this appointment through should be horsewhipped. Kissinger was forced to step down for a far less appearance of conflict of interest...

She must come off. Kean's smug reply is astounding. Kean is allegedly a Republican, but his record reflects that he is a liberal. I believe there are lib ringers among the "GOP" partisan members of this bullshit committee.

They see themselves as "the government" and are talking about changes they will make. They will make? They are there to write a report and make suggestions. The cameras have given them an inflated sense of who they are and their goals as set by the house.

The oddest thing is much of what they go over has been changed already. So it is an exercise in grand standing which many mistaken view as the administration on trial. Indeed that is what the Dems wanted to reflect and it caught on. Perception and deviation. It is a corrupt panel.

This is exacly the sort of attack we need to see against this commission. It is factual, serious and to the point. We need much more of it. The pressure should be turned on severely so that when the commission is mentioned, the people begin to doubt it. Gorelick licks Gore. That alone ought to have disqualified her (hehehe).
