Has anyone seen all the persecuton of moslems and leftists that ashcroft is bringing us? I just dont see it. I think he should get a commendation on how individual rights are being protected in a time of war.

I agree, Ashcroft is underappreciated. As time goes on he seems to rise in stature. A couple of panelists on the Diane Rehm radio show were commenting on his "aggressive" testimony and how he came out "with guns blazing." Don't think they're handling the truth too well...

It's worth reposting this article from last December. Alas, I think the Texas Mercury is now defunct. I saw that Bob Weir has moved on to the American Thinker.
