Learning that Louis Freeh is something of a technophobe was astonishing.

A blogger mentioned awhile back that the FBI should start a blog. Agents could post photos, trade info, have a meeting of minds.

Those agents in Phoenix and Minnesota would have been heard, that's for sure.

I know for a fact that the FBI IT infrastructure was horrible immediately post-9/11. If you wanted to send a tip about terrorists you had to send it to a department that had nothing to do with terrorism but a good IT department -- if I recall correctly maybe cybercrimes?

It's extraordinarily disappointing if they are still so far behind.

We all know how much easier our lives are with more modern equipment.
