This is an interesting relationship chart between Capemax rates and copper. There is one very important outlier, to his simple view though. It's kind of hard to pay top dollar for shipping, when there is less and less product at the other end to pick up. So to me this is a Train Wreck/bottleneck/shortage indicator more than anything else, and will have little or no predictive value in extrapolating the next move in Cu.
