Boy Claude, it's been a tough year for juniors so far.

SUR and FSR have about kept me at about zero for the year, but other than that, phew...

Markets extremely unsettled.

I read through the technical report 'cover to cover'....
frankly, can't see anything to get excited about....
even in the 'sweet spot' of old La India digs they only came up with 2+ gpt...about .07 opt at best....except for a few grab samples & small rich veinlets, they'll have to show much more to grab my interest...looks a lot like
Alamos & Chesapeake leftovers to me...

Claude, you raised a good point about Grayd. Their capital structure needs work. They can do a placement now but would like a higher price first. They may or may not get it. They currently have sufficient funding to complete present program - trenching and modest drilling - but it leaves little cushion.

In final analysis, it boils down to merits of property. I think they are better than appreciated. Siempre mentions nearby Alamos Gold. The Pres. of Alamos was Pres. of Grayd until a year ago. He is still a director and one of Grayd's largest shareholders. There is a connection between Grayd and Alamos people.

As you mention, Prefontaine (GYD Pres.) is a very nice guy. He's also very candid. He did a good job with Anooraq and I like his approach with Grayd. He's surrounded himself with excellent people.

Their current program will have them drill ready in 5 - 6 weeks. Work to date plus their current program is well detailed in their updated report. All considered, I think Grayd is a good spec.
