Bill I really don't know how WACO could have been more of a scandal than it was. Are you forgetting what went on.
The only thing that stopped it from being something bigger which was hard as the mis- communication between the FBI and Justice Department was terrible was Janet Reno's saying the BUCK STOPS HERE.

I think in reviewing the way the American people react to someone's taking responsibility for a mistake by ADMITTING it is that they forgive. This is what Clinton should have done instead of lying about his actions.

The American people are a forgiving people..

Some of the stories that came out of Florida were downright lurid. It was hard to distinguish fact from campaign hype.
