9-11 happened on Bush's watch after many warnings to him were ignored. Don't try to blame Clinton for what happens on Bush's watch. It's not like this happened in January 2001, it happened after the Cheney-Bush team had plenty of time to get their house in order. For some reason they didn't believe terrorism was a priority, so 9-11 happened. COuld it have been stopped? Absolutely, if they had been on the ball and Bush had demanded counter-terror alerts to all airports, law enforcement and FBI offices. Also, why didn't Cheney-Bush ever push for a retaliation for the attack on the Cole? Why did they drop the ball instead of making all this a priority? You know why, because they just didn't care about terrorism. They cared about their pet projects only.
