Which "stories" are you referring to? Certainly the historical context is important but I don't see how that changes the facts of history. Can you elaborate?

The events surrounding the destruction of the Temple and siege of Jerusalem were significant but as you know they were 40 odd years after the Gospel events. I noticed that the anniversary of Masada just passed. I hope to have an opportunity to visit Israel in the next year, and Masada is high on my list of sites to see.
