CIW Web Designer Certification to be Introduced in Mainland China

PHOENIX--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 15, 2004--ProsoftTraining (NASDAQ: POSO - News) today announced it will offer a China-only version of its popular CIW Web designer certification, through a relationship with iTOM Learning. The new certification will be called "CIW China Web Designer" and will be released in May 2004.

Roman Tuo, chairman of iTOM, stated, "We have been very successful in developing and offering Chinese versions of certification programs for companies such as Macromedia, Microsoft, Apple and Hewlett-Packard. When we saw that CIW was recently named Best Web Design Certification in a U.S. survey, we worked very hard to partner with Prosoft to bring its program to China. There is enormous demand in China for this type of certification, thus we have established a minimum target of 10,000 CIW China certificates to be issued in the next year."

"Prosoft had been looking for the right partner to help us expand our CIW product offerings in China, as we have been very pleased with the performance of our CIW Security Analyst certification there. When we saw the amazing success of Macromedia China we knew that iTOM was the right partner to work with to introduce a new CIW certification in China," stated Benjamin Fink, Prosoft's chief operating officer and former managing director of ProsoftTraining Asia.

Under the terms of the agreement, iTOM will create the CIW China exam, and Prosoft will fulfill certificates and manage the Authorized Training Partners through its representative office in Beijing. Cindy Zheng, Prosoft's China regional manager stated, "After setting up our Beijing representative office last year, we have been quite successful in establishing CIW as a premier brand in China and gaining traction for our CCNT convergence technology certification program through our strategic relationship with Beijing Telecom. Our creation of CIW China in partnership with iTOM is the next step toward meeting our goal of enhancing the success of the CIW program."

Tuo added, "Prosoft's physical presence in China was critical in our desire to bring CIW China Web Designer to market. Prosoft understands this market, and together we will capitalize on the CIW brand awareness to create China's No. 1 Web site design certification."
