those royalty estimates are a bit optimistic..And Hager thinks that everyone that signed a license with Rambus will pay.
Thats simply rubbish as most companies that acquire a license never produce, market or sell the product.

<<I agree much of the pricing is priced in, the big carrot or unknown is payments from past which I think will likely disappoint. >>

Agreed...I think most think RMBS has won...and what we have said in the past is the real question is not that they won, but what did they win......also, although I think most believe rmbs has won and will win in the courts, until it is over and done with, many will stay away......like Jill said "never buy a lawsuit".....so possibly people are waiting to see exactly what they did win and also waiting to get all the legal issues behind them.......and possible, many like me dont see the economy and world as rosey as others see it and think the markets could be due for long, severe whacking....It's almost kind of funny how evenly split the 'experts' are on where the markets are heading...all highly paid, supposed experts, but half think economy is recovering and the bull is back for equities and the other half thinks we are in s secular bear that is going to last awhile and get pretty ugly....well, at least this time, half will be correct which is a far better batting average then the 'experts' have had in the past <g>
