Agree with your points. My monetary work is one of the few

things in my tool box, I talk about publicly.

In large part, that's because I don't have the time to do much conceptual posting. As a professional trader, the trading ritual takes the lion's share of my day.

Also, the trading mind set that going along with that biz is consistent with shorter posts and quips:o) Although there obviously has to be interaction, the side of the mind which works in the more conceptual areas operates somewhat differently from the <Wham bam, thank you Mam> trader mind set:o) That is also one of the principal reasons I rarely post on the more conceptual threads on SI.

AFA my FED work goes? It's a purely function and practical support for the trading work. So, it's not academic in nature or format. It does provide a good general sense of macro liquidity trends. And, although I think it provides considerable insight into the dynamics of same, it's not a big part of my daily work routine as a position trader.

If I had more time and were writing for publication? I'd certainly flesh out the ideas with a lot more detail and fullness than is possible in a forum like this which is more a reflection of my daily work environment.

Well, time to log off for the day. Got an excellent art history book sitting a few feet away that wants to be read.

Best regards,

Isopatch
