Actually, that is not true about the highway bill. It directly effects me because of my business, and Bush has clearly been against the size of it. I believe he is wrong in this case because it does create tremendous benefits, but, we do need to curtail spending because he has allocated the money for other budgetary items. I may be partial to this one, but it is by no means a set up veto, he has been clear about this and congress has been clear what they want to spend. We have met with some regarding this, congress has been very aggressive regarding this program for the next six years.

1) Bush hasn't vetoed a single bill as President (a first for a President serving four years). They are pushing through a bill right now (the highway bill) just to allow Bush to veto it ... talk about politics!
