Thank you for pointing me toward the article. I see it's from the Christian Science Monitor, which is generally highly regarded for its veracity. I see nothing upsetting whatsoever with what was said, frankly. Yes, its a good paper. I appreciate the articles for their lack of noticeable bias. I appreciate you taking the time to find it for me. Perhaps we should remember that a number of the radical right wing extremists with whom we argue here are fundamentalist Christians of the opinion that Israel's wishes should be aceded to because Jews are ripe targets (in some convoluted illogic) for Christian salvation. In addition, Israel is the Holy land for Christians as well as Muslims and Jews. Fundamentalist Christians are very concerned that it remain in "good hands". Like they say, politics and religion make strange bedfellows. Frankly, given all the homophobia, racism, classicism and plain vanilla invective that flies through here from these folks, I'm surprised that your posting of an article in the mainstream press is the slightest bit upsetting. For people like them, the truth can be very disturbing! ;~)
