He might be right because NY in 1970s ended up not bad in 2000, while the US possibly won't have that luck, say, 30 years from now, it might worse off?<g>

Nice piece...I agree with him, especially on the metals (and also with tech, but ends of manias are hard to predict precisely....but I can't see us higher on the 'Dung or the Soxx by the end of the year than we are right now....)
