X Y, Re: what sort of privilege do they enjoy? after all, they are only public employees, A few years back, Mayor Willie Brown's limosine ran into a pedestrian in downtown San Francisco. After stopping for half a second, the limo speeded on leaving an injured citizen to fend for herself. The media found out about this and make a small stink about it. The Mayor's Office brushed of the incident, and shortly after this I happened to be on a MUNI bus. With about 25 people on the bus, I raised my voice so everyone could hear and said "We ought to make Willie responsible, after all he's our public servant." You wouldn't believe the howls of laughter that line created.
