Because, to the Democrats, the enemy is not just al Qaeda. It is also the George W. Bush White House. So they cross the bounds of acceptable political discourse, twisting the truth and bending the facts to produce a product that will advance their political ambitions. Bingo!! And this is why I find myself, more and more, lacking any common interest with any democratic candidate. Because no matter how moderate they are, they still will be required to represent and kowtow to those who find it politically expedient to play politics with American lives, both civilian and uniformed.
