Shares of Lexar Media (LEXR) sank 33% to $10.42 on Friday after the Fremont, Calif., company warned that its bottom line would suffer as it slashes prices on its memory cards, readers and portable drives. Shares of SanDisk (SNDK) tumbled 14% to $27.91 on Thursday after the Lexar rival announced that it would cut prices on similar products by about 20%. It fell an additional 5% to $26.52 on Friday.
