Clarke has never lied. He was the most credible witness of any of them. Clarke would never lie about something as important as this. Counter-terror is his whole life and he's also a life-long Republican. He is the only one with the decency and honesty to apologize to the 9-11 victims. The White House refusal to apologize is one of the coldest things an administration has ever done. Obviously they were not on the ball. Bush himself admitted it. So why no apology? Why all cover-up and deflections? Why no accountability? And why Iraq?
