Portfolio update - bought some PRE @55.6$, an Bermuda based reinsurer.

Incidentally, there is a pretty good article about RNR, one of PRE's competitors in the FOOL:

According to this source RNR's LT growth (enabled through above average profitability has been 20%, which is better than PRE 13-15% over a similar 10 year period. If this works out the same way going forward, RNR higher book value premium (60% versus 30%) would be well worth paying for. I'll keep RNR on my watch list for now.
