It's not so much that Kerry is grabbing the Eucharist while murdering babies. The Church has seen plenty of sin in the past.

But if there are any Catholics left who were interested in voting for Kerry in November, they must be very liberal. Ralph just got 'em. And there's an excellent chance he will beat out Kerry for the distant 2nd place finish...

Kenneth, Maybe you should learn more before posting -

"the Church does not teach that the death penalty is intrinsically evil, but rather that “legitimate public authority” may inflict the death penalty subject to certain limitations.

The Church’s teaching is set forth in the Catechism of the Catholic Church. The Catechism provides that “legitimate public authority” may inflict the death penalty for the protection of society and only if necessary. The teaching is rooted in both biblical scholarship and tradition."
