i recall you didn't know what hedonics were

And I asked about it. As someone who has never lived in the US and hence unfamiliar with the details of your GDP calculation can be expected to do.

you believe the US headline unemployment numbers are real

Not really. I just don't think there is falsification of numbers. The way they are adjusted makes them less than adequate to judge real level of unemployment, but that is another story.

you are unaware of the differences in economic reporting between US and Europe

Most I know well, some I am aware of quite a bit, and other details I am learning. That is hardly a crime.

in spite of which, you act like you know what you're talking about. this type of behavior falls under the rubric of pot calling kettle black, if i'm not mistaken.

My dear friend, the difference is (1) I do know what I am talking about, even if there are US-specific details I come across once in a while, ask about, and learn... and (2) I don't make all out FALSE claims. If I did, I am sure you would not hesitate to correct me :-)

Haim here made a very false claim that is very easy to dispute. As I did. I am sorry if it hurt you that I did so, but it was wrong, and I corrected it.

Now, have a very nice day.
