A gap reversal?

I think that's where a stock changes direction suddenly after a sudden, big move, often with big volume. A day or more's trading seem to stick out on its own, like an island.

I suspect Tuesday's to Thursday's pattern is what LJ is talking about.

Wayne look that the chart. At the bottom right just prior to todays action you will see a gap to a few bars of lows. Today the stock gapped up leaving those few bars alone like an island. Not sure this is clear. If not PM me and I will try to elaborate.
