Yeah, I am still in the heavy net loss camp and may never pay taxes on cap gains again, especially not at the current low low rates. By the time I get to pay them, rates will be back to 70-90% (when Social security goes bust in 2020s).

As for MLNM, I still own it from CORR bought at $8 - just wish I had not been a wimp. I could sell it and maybe move day of tax reckoning up or alternatively sell rounds of calls against it. Note that if I do, this thing will then break out a la ELN and SEPR. Oh well!

I guess we could all enter into complex trades designed to pick out an interest like return to convert interest into cap gains.

Ian, you were noting the strange odd lot fills on some of your trades. I've noticed them too, and here's one from yesterday - MLNM filled in lots of 409, 409 and 182, by Merrill. Merrill is a market maker in MLNM, so it shows up as principal.
