Re: I read somewhere there were +/- 20,000 wounded --- What I have seen in print and heard on NPRadio is that there have been about this number of medical evacuations from the theater of operation. Not all are "wounded" per se. Some are ill due to disease, some are freaked out PTSD types. Some few are suicides. I don't have an accurate count of those who are amputees. That would make a great group picture to turn the American public off to this stupid imperial adventurism.
