Yes, but GDP per capita is $2,400. I'd say $1,500 per person is not all that bad.

I believe Iraq has the potential to put out far more oil than they currently are. Now, I don't know what the average yearly wage has been over the last 10-15 years but $1500 per year per person combined with greater output could be a great wage in that area. It may not sound like much to us but the conversion of dollars to their new currency could be significant. I don't know
