Cheney supported a 50 cent gas tax, but it was never implemented as they found other ways to balance the budget. Every single ad of Bush's is a total lie so far. This gang just cannot shoot straight or tell the truth about anything. Fortunately these Pinocchios have no credibility left. Anything Cheney-Bush say on any subject must now be taken with a big grain of salt. Boys who have cried wolf way too many times.

Of course he wanted a gas tax increase years ago. No one paid attention to him...but to deny it is another flat out lie of American Spirit.

Kerry: Raise the gas tax
" The Concord Coalition report failed to account for "my support for a 50-cent increase in the gas tax," Mr. Kerry angrily complained."
