I doubt it. His reputation was a heavy drinker. I assume no blood test?

As a senator he should have resigned. Your immediate action if it happened to be an accident would have been to call the police at the nearest phone.

He also should have been convicted of manslaughter but then i assume the d.a. was a democrat.
