I worked with the Kerry campaign in LA in 2002-2003. There were no anti-war liberal types anywhere in sight. All of the Kerry event guests I saw (out of about a thousand) were very moderate-conservative serious conscientious professionals. Not a single what you would call "big liberal" or any partisan entertainners. Also suprisingly quite a few Republicans. R

Remember, Theresa Heinz was a Republican until last year, one of the most powerful and rich Republicans. Kerry's best friends include Republicans, including John McCain.
There are hundreds of thousands of moderate Republicans who cannot stand Cheney-Bush. Many of them will vote for Kerry. For good reason, Kerry knows how to work with them and address their issues.
