I think we need to know the tax returns of those people who run for public office. If T. Heinz files her taxes separately and has always done so, it is her right to keep it away from the public eyes since she is not running for public office. Besides, we also need to respect the right to privacy of her previous marriage, which had a tragic ending and to which she has promised to fulfill her obligations she undertook with her late husband. That John Kerry respects that is very commendable and it should serve as model for those divorced couples in the US who remarry and move on with their new lives while at the same time fulfilling their obligations of their previous married life.
