perhaps republican party gets stronger and conflict % changes? I read the other day union members in New Jersey not following leadership for Kerry.

Gridlock would be a very good thing right now. The budget deficit would be smaller because fewer pork bills would get enacted.

That's OK with me as a Libertarian I think they do more harm than good. Nowdays they are mostly concerned with corporate welfare, and bribes.

Gridlock sounds good to me compared to the paranoia and bumbling strategy of this Administration.
