No, they are not leaders of a country, whatsoever. They are informal accredited representatives of a country. I would not know if Kerry met with an ambassador. Shirley Temple was an ambassador too, but I never heard that she was xonsidered a leader. Chinu, once again, that was a far reach from reality.

Do you consider members of the diplomatic corps as leaders of their countries? How would you know if Kerry had met with the Ambassador of Ireland in Boston?

Chinu - Diplomats represent their countries. They are not leaders by any stretch of the imagination.
