Man, you are my hero.

I just spent the morning buying a jug of RoundUp SuperKill 10,000 ( I don't know what it is really called), and spraying it on every living thing on my lawn. It didn't take too long, as my "lawn" is only about 1000 sq. ft., and more than half of it is already absolutely dead. Figure I'll wait a week or two, pull out the bigger clumps of dead grass, till the whole thing, then decide what to do.

I am seriously trying to come up with some kind of "grass alternative" that would be low maintenance, yet soft enough for kids to play on. Mulch seems a little too messy, and ugly, but I don't know what else would work.

I like the idea of pine needles. I wonder if I planted a half dozen or so . . .
