Have faith, ol' Son. I worked with some Russian physicists at (CEBAF) Thomas Jefferson National Labs in Newport News, VA and those dudes were sharp as a tack. Most of them looked forward to going back and helping rebuild Russia. I also have some friends currently working on major improvements in Russia, and I think the country will return to its pre-commie glory within the next ten years; but without the previous abuses of a monarchy. As the economy and opportunities improve, the drinking problems will also subside. John :-) .
