Kerry's a throwaway for the Democrat smart money. The "establishment" media and their carnival-barker pollsters who keep the myth alive that Kerry can actually get to double-digits serve the purposes of both Karl Rove AND the "Clinton Wing", which needs to sit this hopeless cause out without looking too disloyal to the foaming-at-the-mouth anti-American base. That explains why no one has gone to see Kennedy and talked him out of constantly throwing gasoline on the Kerry fire...

OK, that will make sure that the 35-40% or so voters don't stray (as if anything is needed for a group that is prone to pick up the crayons at the door anyway). Anything of substance to convince the middle 15-20% that will actually decide the election?
