I remember you talking about it before but I can't remember ever working on a faucet like that.

Depending on age and condition of the brass seat will help you decide. If the seat is shot but removable it isn't that bad. If it isn't removable you now have to buy a seat grinder. If you don't grind it just right it will still leak.

Up to you to decide. Sorry I can't help more.
BTW, Never heard of that name valve but a plumbing supply store might have. I wouldn't waste my time with home depot on it though.

Hey, being a pipe wrench type you might be able to help me. I have a self draining barn faucet, pipestand sort of thing. Won't shut completley off. Whole new faucet or can I get replacement parts?
