Israel might be powerful (It is no way superpower there is only one superpower - USA) I said a regional superpower in the ME. But shells even from conventional artillery from Syria, Jordan, Lebanon, can reach ALL populations centers in Israel. I do not even mention Artillery from Gaza and West Bank that supposed to be Pal state. Syria and Lebanon are the only ones who are likely to attack but why don't they........besides the occasional firing over the Golan Hts or along the border with Lebanon? What's the reason they don't attack a lot more if Israel is so defenseless? After Arabs will grab some land, they will demand more weakening Israel in the process. As long as Israelis hold onto to this fable, there will be no progress towards peace. Even if Israel will offer land concessions militant organizations, will disband them and will not declare peace. If Israel cannot reach peace with Arabs, why should they give land? And they cannot reach peace because Arabs does not recognize Jews rights to their own state in the ME. If you are Israeli, you know that their is a demographic time bomb ticking. Soon there will be more Palestinian Arabs in Israel than Jews. What happens then?
