No, we're talking about values, not sentiments. You open-minded types will fall for anything, do anything, accept anything. The "illiterate" cowboys engaging in "vigilante" law enforcement provided the only justice there was, and after they hanged the bad guys they became leaders and created a civilized society. The educated "open-minded" types were the ones who "stole" Indian land, just like one tribe stole it from another when they had the power. You can even include Thomas Jefferson in that, although he was hardly so open as to ridicule the values represented in that little photo essay about cowboys. Cowboys are great on TV, but we're talking the real world,
